The Kamaki Hedge Shears 201 are ideal for precision trimming and shaping in your garden, from lawns to tree branches. These shears boast short wooden handles designed for optimal control and comfort.

Usage:

• Japanese steel is hard and sharp. To avoid chips and preserve the steel edge, do not cut wire, metal, stone, or plastic. 
• Do not twist or apply uneven pressure
• It’s better to cut diagonally across branches (not straight across), so you cut along the fibres
• For heavier cuts, make sure you’re using the base of the blades (not the tips)

Care:

• Always remove sap and leaf resin, rust and gunk with a Rust Eraser and water
• Dry, wipe over with Camellia Oil and store in a dry place
• Sharpen when needed (secateurs can be sharpened every couple of weeks, shears & topiary clippers after every use to see an incredible difference).
• Ensure you keep the blades in good condition with appropriate tool maintenance.
