Englis Medania Spinach (Spinacea oleracea) is a modern variety, heavy cropper of excellent quality with thick dark green leaves. It is slow to establish but has a resistance to mildew. Harvested as baby leaves, or when mature, a flavorsome variety that freezes well.
How To Grow:
- Sow thinly, 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart.
- Thin out to 30cm apart. Water well during dry spells.
- Repeat at 3 weekly intervals for a continuous crop.
When To Plant: Late Summer to early Winter.
Harvest: 8-10 weeks
