New Zealand Wool Mulch is a natural organic product made from untreated New Zealand sheep wool. These wool pellets hold 1.5 – 2 times their weight in water, reducing the amount of times you have to water your plants! This also protects plants from over-watering, with the pellets releasing water as the plants require it.
Use NZ Wool Mulch on top of the soil, or mix it into the soil as an additive. As the mulch expands with water this also increases the porosity of the soil, optimising root growth. As the mulch slowly breaks down over time it will release nutrients into your soil, helping plants grow strong and healthy.
