When it comes to green waste disposal we all want to do our bit, but for some, traditional compost bins that require manual aerating and turning the heap can be a bit too much work, and before you know it your compost bin is left bereft in the corner of your garden.

Well if "easy" is something you like to hear when you're thinking about recycling garden waste then this is the compost bin for you!

A key feature of this compost tumbler is the two compartments (this can be left as one compartment too), which means you never stop composting. When the first compartment is full, you start on the second compartment and this allows for continual curing and decomposition without having to stop adding new food and garden waste to start the process again.

Developed and designed in Australia, the strong, reinforced barrel has been UV protected, is rodent proof and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost.

The frame is powder-coated zinc and its open front design allows for the easy access for collection of ready to use compost from the barrel with plenty of room for a compost cart to slide in underneath. By rotating the door to face down you are able to slide the door open and let the compost fall into the cart. The Maze Composting Cart works well for simple and tidy collection of ready compost.

But the best feature is the gear and handle which ensures easier turning of the drum, and the geared ratchet will automatically lock rotation in any position and prevent backwards rotation. This means maximum aeration and turning with the least amount of effort possible!

If you're already using a Bokashi Composter, bokashi can also be added to this tumbler instead of burying it into the ground. Simply add to the mix then add a brown layer of dry leaves, shredded paper and soil.
